This Postgraduate in Cosmetic Science prepares you to become an accredited professional, qualified to prescribe high-quality derm-cosmetic treatments. Our online Postgraduate in Cosmetic Science will provide advanced training on the main skin alterations, the most used active ingredients in cosmetics, nutricosmetics and pharmacy protocols. It will also teach you how to advise on cosmetic products, formulate personalised products and improve sales in dermo-cosmetics with online marketing campaigns. With this postgraduate you will get highly-specialised training in a sector with a growing demand for qualified professionals.

Approximately twice a week you will carry out practical activities that will be reviewed and evaluated by your specialized teachers..

BSC IN CHEMISTRY
She holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Management, Technology and Entrepreneurship. Claudia's passion for natural cosmetics motivated her to become an Advanced Natural Cosmetics Formulator and an Expert in Cosmetic Safety Assessment. With her own brand, she has set up a cosmetics laboratory and published a book on holistic beauty.
PHD IN APPLIED PHYSICS
She holds a PhD in Applied Physics, a BSc in Pharmacy, a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Diploma in Optics and Optometry. Lourdes is also a secondary school teacher specialising in personal image counselling and processes. She is also involved in applied physics research and teaches Dermopharmacy at the University of Vigo.
BSC IN PHARMACY
Beatriz holds a BSc in Pharmacy. She has postgraduate qualifications in Pharmaceutical Care, Dermocosmetics and Cosmetology and Pharmaceutical Industry. She has a wide range of experience in the field of dermopharmacy. Since 2013, she has also been involved in developing and manufacturing cosmetics for third parties.
PHD IN BIOCHEMISTRY
She holds a BSc in Biology and a PhD in Biochemistry. She has extensive experience as a researcher and project manager at the University of Navarra, the University of A Coruña and the University of Santiago de Compostela. Beatriz has published a wide range of articles and has presented papers at national and international conferences. In 2017, she received the jury award for Best Master's Professor from the Spanish Association of Business Schools.
BSC IN MEDICINE
He holds a BSc in Medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He also has specialised training in psychogeriatrics, bone health, clinical nutrition and the digestive system, cardiogeriatrics, onco-haematogeriatrics and clinical ultrasound.
BSC IN CHEMICAL SCIENCES
She holds a BSc in Chemistry, an MSc in Cosmetics and Dermopharmacy and an International MSc in Toxicology. Belen has over 20 years of experience working as a technical director in the cosmetic industry and has taught in this field since 2006. At the moment, she is the managing director of ABAR & COSMETICS.

A Postgraduate degree in Cosmetic Science can lead to a variety of career opportunities in the cosmetics industry, including product development, formulation chemistry, quality control/assurance, regulatory affairs and sales/marketing. As a product development scientist, you will develop new cosmetic products, improve existing products and ensure that all products meet safety and regulatory standards. Formulation chemists are responsible for developing and testing new cosmetic products, while quality control/assurance professionals ensure that products meet quality standards. Regulatory affairs professionals work to ensure that products meet legal and regulatory requirements, while sales and marketing professionals promote cosmetic products to consumers.
Our Postgraduate in Medical Laboratory Science has a total duration of 1,500 hours. This is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits, the workload typically associated with an academic year.
Cosmetic Science is the study of the formulation, development and evaluation of cosmetic products, including skin care, make-up and hair care.
